In ad360, you can enter a margin level at several levels:
- Account
- Advertiser
- Campaign
The Margin level is a % value that will apply to the media spend of that object, and will be included in the Total Spend of the object. This amount will be considered taken out of the campaign budgets, but won't be billed to you. Hence margin is a good way to manage directly within ad360 your remuneration as a percentage of the media budgets.
Account Margin
The Account Margin is a percentage value that will be applied to Gross Media Spend amounts. The resulting Margin Amount will be included in all Spend (or Total Media Spend) values, but won’t be billed by ad360. You should enter a positive integer value (e.g. to get a margin of 20%, you need to enter “20”). If this field is left empty, the Account Margin will be equal to 0.
Advertiser Margin
The Advertiser Margin is a percentage value that will override the Account Margin for all campaigns of this Advertiser. The margin percentage value is applied to Gross Media Spend amounts. The resulting Margin Amount will be included in all Spend (or Total Media Spend) values, but won’t be billed by ad360. You should enter a positive integer value (e.g. to get a margin of 20%, you need to enter “20”). If this field is left empty, the Account Margin value will be used instead.
Campaign Margin
The Campaign Margin is a percentage value that will override the Advertiser Margin for this specific campaign. If this field is left empty, the Advertiser Margin value will be used instead.
