The Viewability is the probability that an impression will be seen by a user.
Viewability is expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100, and is calculated as the percent of viewable impressions compared to measured impressions.
Viewable impressions are defined per the IAB standard metric:
- For display inventory: 50% or more of the creative on screen for a continuous 1 second or more
- For in-stream inventory: 50% or more of the creative on screen for a continuous 2 seconds or more
Ad360 Web Console lets you set a Minimum Viewability Rate for your Menadex Line Items.
If Ad360 receives a Bid Request for an impression with a Viewability Rate below your Minimum Viewability Rate, we won't bid for it.
This ensures that all impressions that we bid for, and therefore win, will have a greater viewability rate than your Minimum Viewability Rate.
Note that choosing a low Minimum Viewability Rate value may reduce the amount of available impressions that Ad360 can bid for, and therefore potentially reduce the campaign's delivery.
