Default Bid Definition
The Default Bid is the initial value that will be used to bid on ad inventory. Ad360 may afterward change the bid value based on results, but will never exceed the Max Bid value.
What happens if I leave the Default Bid field blank
The Default Bid is not a mandatory field, meaning that you can leave it blank when creating a Line Item.
In that case, Ad360 will initially use the Max Bid as a Default Bid as well.
Why does the Default Bid matter
The Default Bid is crucial when starting the Ad Operations with a New Line Item, because it informs the system where you want to start in terms of bid. It can help save time and ensure a high delivery at first, which is especially helpful if the campaign has a short duration.
